Hertford - June 29 - July 4 (concluded)

Mindfulness on The River Lea

We are delighted to be bringing our very special, floating, mindful meditation experience to Hertford for the first time.

Water symbolises purity, clarity and calmness in many traditions. On board Fiodra and inside our tranquil studio these are the qualities we seek to explore and nurture. Whether you are new to Mindful Meditation or already a practitioner, time spent learning and practising is always worthwhile.

Bob, the skipper, leads all the sessions. Bob has practised meditation for over 25 years and trained to teach Mindfulness with Bangor University Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice.

Exploring Mindfulness

A two-hour session exploring several techniques (practices) and the theory behind mindfulness. It is suitable for beginners and people with some experience of meditation: as part of yoga, for example. There will be an opportunity for discussion, and advice available on how to learn more. Book in advance.

Lunchtime De-Stress

A one-hour session focusing on simple practices to help you notice your stress levels and handle your reaction to stress. This is a popular session for working folk who are interested in what mindfulness has to offer. It's a great taster session for anyone who has not meditated before. Book in advance.
